Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts from our Athens office. This strategic role involves driving revenue growth, forging strong client relationships, and contributing to Syroco’s ambitious goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and achieving significant revenue targets within technology-driven sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Syroco’s business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize market opportunities to maximize revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Establish key performance metrics to monitor and drive sales performance.

Team Management and Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Set individual and team goals, conducting regular performance reviews.

Client Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions with Syroco’s offerings.
  • Represent Syroco at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Market Insights and Innovation

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with the product and R&D teams to align offerings with market demand.
  • Identify and pursue new verticals and strategic partnerships to expand Syroco’s reach.

Revenue Growth

  • Drive significant revenue growth by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Develop pricing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Monitor sales pipelines and provide accurate forecasting.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in technology-driven sectors (e.g., renewable energy, mobility, advanced materials).
  • Proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of the Athens market and broader European sales landscape.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
