Role Overview

Syroco is seeking a VP of Sales to scale the deployment of our SaaS offering across Europe. Based at our HQ in Marseille, you’ll drive revenue growth, set up a pan-European team of 5-10 sales professionals (initially), and build robust sales processes - CRM, quotas, reporting, KPIs - to meet ambitious targets through data‑driven execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic revenue leadership: You’ll own and drive Syroco’s commercial expansion across Europe - defining the strategy, assembling your team, and leading from the front.
  • Team build-out & coaching: Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of 5-10; instill a performance culture driven by data and mastery.
  • Sales process excellence: Implement pipeline management, forecasting, quota systems, and CRM best practices.
  • Complex SaaS sales: Guide enterprise-level deals across shipping, maritime operators, and industrial markets.
  • Cross-functional partnerships: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and engineering; integrate market insights from customers into product development.
  • Executive reporting & leadership: Deliver data-driven sales insights and contribute to company strategy as part of Syroco’s leadership team.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong experience in managing and scaling a European SaaS sales team (8+ years in B2B software, with senior leadership experience).
  • Hands-on in structuring sales operations - CRM, pipeline tools, KPIs, quota models.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in complex, technical environments.
  • Fluent in French & English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience selling into maritime, industrial, or engineering sectors is a strong plus.
