Groupe Brousse, new partner of the Syroco Speed Record
The history of Groupe Brousse began in Bordeaux almost 90 years ago, with a business specialising in fresh fruit and vegetables trading. In 1946, Jacques Brousse opened a commercial branch in Marseille to develop trade with the Mediterranean region.
Four generations later, Fabien Brousse now leads Groupe Brousse with the support of his brother Jérémy. Brousse is today a family-owned international food trading company, specialised in canned and candied ingredients for the food industry, dried fruits, and subjects and accessories for the Epiphany. Solidly established in Marseille, Brousse has subsidiaries in Germany and the Netherlands and has just launched the construction for a 3640 sqm second head office in La Ciotat.
It is therefore as a company deeply anchored in a regional ecosystem, but also as part of its responsibility in terms of energy transition, that Brousse has decided to support the Syroco project. Goods from Brousse travel almost exclusively by sea, both for import and export… The interest of a project generating innovation for the decarbonation of maritime transport has therefore emerged as a meaningful commitment for the leaders of the company.
Syroco had the pleasure of a visit of the Brousse team to the Anse du Pharo workshop, on the occasion of the signature of the partnership and the installation of the “Groupe Brousse” logo on the radio-controlled prototype.
A big thank you to Groupe Brousse for their support!
